Flunet 6.1, error message

hi i had just installed fluent 6.1
on the same PC, i had previous version fluent 6.0 both versions seems to be working properly but while startup of fluent 6.1, it gives the message in console window Error: sopenoutputfile: unable to open file for output Error Object: "c:\temp\kill-fluent1348" what could be the reason!!!!! thanks in advance |

You should create a directory 'temp' on your C: and it will be fine.

hi thanks for ur suggestion after i created a dir "temp" in C: and started fluent there is another message
Kill script file is c:\temp\kill-fluent732 just for curiosity, what does this message indicate!!! Regards |

The number is the PID of the software. If fluent crashed down you can kill the process using this number. It's not necessary under Windows because you have directly access to the list of process.
