Hi! To solve a potential flow past an aerofoil, which is suitable method-finite difference method, finite volume method or finite element method? Also what kind of grid should be generated? --regards Niru

Hi, You need to define problem more clearly. I have experience in using Pannel Code called XFOIL (Free ware) from MIT. Its specifically good for aerofoil analysis for subsonic range. Its good and fast. It also includes integral Boundary layer analysis.
