Hi,
I want to compile the udf under VC++6.0 and then link it to the Fluent. I copied the files in the /Fluent6.0/src from a unix system to the folder "VC98/Include" in a W2K system. When I try to compile the UDF in VC++ GUI, compiler told me "c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\config.h(119) : error C2143: syntax error : missing '{' before ':' c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\config.h(119) : error C2059: syntax error : ':' c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\global.h(18) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'dll.h': No such file or directory" Confused! How do you compile the UDF with VC++? Best, Li Jingping |

Hello,
Are you sure you can compile Fluent UDF with VC? What I am doing is I write UDF in VC but do not compile it. When finished, I will move it to Fluent working directory, then I will compile and debug it with Fluent UDF compiler. Steven |

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I found I made a mistake when I refered to the manual again. It is required to compile the UDF under the working directory in the system where the Fluent is installed. UDF can't be compiled with VC.
