Hi all, Quick question: Interpreted udf's work in fluent without me having a C compiler on my computer (Windows if it makes a difference), do compiled udf's work or do I need a compiler? I need to know so that I can start buying one if necesary while I read how to use them. Thanks, Rat

I don't think so u need extra C compiler cause u can write the program on grendel console window with VI commads or u can do it on notepad then upload it to working directory and modify with VI commands.

For compiled UDF, you have to have a compiler on your computer. For Unix/Linux some cpp compiler will do. In order to use compiled UDF on windows, you'll need MS Visual C 6.0.
