Hi, guys: Could you please help me to apply the heat flux boundary condtion at wall surface. In my case, the known boundary conditions is heat flux, given by: heat flux=heat transfer co. *(Averaged fluid temperature - constant) in which heat transfer co. is constant, but the average fluid temperature varies at different locations in the simulation domain. Thank you very much!

you can apply the heat flux by boundary condition ,and you can get the bulk temperature [maybe the Averaged fluid temperature ]using Fluent.

Thank you very much! Did you suggest me to use UDF to get the bulk temperature? Becuase in my problem, the heat flux is a function of bulk temperature. In UDF, the heat flux is applied on wall surface, which could be defined by Macro DEFINE_PROFILE(). And the temperature can be accessed by DEFINE_PROPERTY(). Now the difficulty is: (1)How to load PROPERTY from PROFILE; (2)The Macro PROFILE()should be update in every iteration. How to make it work? If possible, please give me more advice? |
