I'm calculating a stage of axial compressor, but when I began iterating, it will appear such error:
Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure correction Error Object: (). I have tried to reduce the under-relaxation factors of pressure and it's useful in some cases. Later, I increase the grid number and I also adopt the above measures, after about 2000 iteration the above error appeared again. Could anyone tell me how I should do and what I should do? Thanks for any help! regards ann |

ann check your B.C first! And the initial condition is also important .

zhhuang,thanks for your response!
My calculating case is obtained from NACA report. The inlet B.C. is inlet total pressure(about 67,000),inlet total temperature (300k) ,inlet initial gauge pressure ( 65000) and hydraulic diameter 0.0502meter(the pitch). The outlet B.C. is 74000. Any problems do you think? Thanks in advance! Regards, ann |
