Hi, Could anyone tell me where I can find templates or help with modelling stirred tanks in Fluent?

Hi Nishant. You might want to look at a program (from Fluent) called Mixsim. It has a library of various impellers that you can place in a tank. The program itself is actually simple to learn/use.

You can always use Gambit to draw the geometry too, although this requires a pretty good knowledge of Gambit and can take some time.

You could also see some of Fluent tutorials that have similar workings on stirred tank i.e. FLuent 5.5 Tutorial volume 3 (no.s 12 & 18).

i'm working on a stirred reactor actually a batch stirred reactor.
you talked a bout mix sim. is it useful for reactors as well?
and also where can i get it?
at the moment i've got ansys 12 but it doesn't have mix sim.
i made some search but i couldn't find it. would you please help me?
