Hi everybody, I would like to solve a two-phase annular flow in a tube (r-22 & it's vapor). I have Fluent 5.23 software which has three kind of multiphase models as follows: 1-VOF, 2-Cavitation, 3-Algebric Slip. Could you please tell me with which multiphase model can I solve my problem? Thank you in advance

How comes you don't have Fluent 6?

The model you should use, depends on what you want to simulate. What phisics are involved?

Hi, The model which I want to simulate is a co-current downward ( or horizental ) annular film condensation flow in a tube.We assumed that entrainment of liquid in the vapor core is negligible and that the liquid flows in a thin film in a smooth-walled tube. Thank you in advance Nima

I agree, VOF. Maybe some UDF's are involved for the mass-transfer between phases.

Hi everybody, Many thanks for your help . Could you please tell me how can I write a UDF fo mass transfer(condensation) at vapor/liquid interface? If you send me such a UDF(if you have) I would be thankful. Regards

Wouldn't it be better to post it on this forum? I'd like to see it too.

hi, if you have condensation mass transfer udf, and if possible I also want it. on the other hand I need evaporation of udf.
