Hi, I have a question about the effective viscosity calculation:
An additional differential equation for the effective viscosity calculation is provided in the RNG k-e model, but I found that the formulation of this equation is different from the one that's given in Yakhot's paper where the origin of this model is discussed. There're 3 differences: 1) the density term doesn't appear in Yakhot's formula. 2) the coefficient is 1.7288 instead of 1.72. 3) the constant Cv is not equal to 100 in Yakhot's formula. Could someone please explain this for me? I'd appreciate it very much. Ellen |
