Default Adaption by Y+ on a mixed grid with periodics

I experienced difficulties to adapt grid by Y+ when it had periodics. The model had rotating and stationary fluid regions with sliding periodic grid interfaces in between. The message I got was: Hanging node adaption did not conserve periodicity. Conformal adaption allows to adapt only TET cells, but most of my grid were HEX cells. I tried to delete the grid interfaces prior to the adaption, as well as changing the periodics to walls; the problem persisted when the interfaces or periodics were recreated. Anybody knows how to get around this problem? Thanks. Martin.
