Hello all users,
someone can tell me if is it possible to simulate the windshield defogging (water-vapor, air) using FLUENT? |

Visteon Automotive Systems & Ford did windshield de-icing with Fluent, and it was featured in the Fluent news magazine Fall 2000/Winter 2001. Try having a look on the Fluent website for more info. Hope that helps,

Hi Atholl,
thanks for your suggestion, but I saw the article and I already made a simulation of windshield de-icing. The problem is that in de-icing simulation you can use the melting model (solid->liquid) but the defogging simulation is harder to reproduce: it takes into account the evaporation. I thank you anyway. Davide. |
