Dear all, (1)does anyone has experience for that? what's differences between runing Fluent on celeron CPU and Pentium CPU? (2)Can I install both CFX and Fluent in one PC? how to deal with the license data files since they use same license manager software.

thanks in advance!!!

No problem running Fluent on Celeron. I use one for testing and its fine. Pentium 3 and 4 will be faster for same clock speed though.

Can't see why you can't use CFX and Fluent together - they should just have separate entries in the license manager file.

Thanks, Greg, since CFX and Fuent use some license manager FLEXLM, someone told me they will be conflicted, you can install FLUENT4,fuent5 and other fluent inc. software together, but you cannot install others with these, such as CFX, star-CD.

Howell, this is not true. I am running both Fluent and CFX on the same computer without any license conflicts.

Thanks Kim, I am very happy to heard this, because I want to install the Fluent55 and CFX55 locally and licensed by connecting network, do you also install FLEXLM locally?

No, just on a license server.
