Hi,
I'm getting the following error when I try to output my mesh to Fluent 5 format.

------------------ Running FLUENT V5 Interface Vers.4.1.4

Computing connectivity Creating cell sections Error exit: Input mesh incorrect. Try to run 'make consistent'. child process exited abnormally Done with translation. -------------------
I could export the same tetin and the same block file to CFX-5 format and no error was found. I did the 'make consistent' command but no success were achieved. Anyone got any hints?
Regards, cfd guy

Hi,

Do a check for standalone surface mesh. If it finds any delete them, save the domain and re export. Another possible cause is your mesh has leaked. Take a cut plain in sub sets and make sure the mesh has been cut. If you don't know how to do this then check the file sizes of the uncut and cut domain. If the are about the same size then you have a hole. Contact you ICEM office to ask how to fix it.

Hope this helps.
