Hello, 1/ I want to know exatly witch scheme for pressure is used in Fluent 4.5 (structured version). Is it the SIMPLE scheme referenced in the book of Patankar (1980) ref 95 in the fluent manual or the SIMPLER scheme referenced in the paper of Karki and Patankar (AIAA 1989) ref 56 in the fluent documentation?

2/ If it's the SIMPLE one, Is Fluent 4.5 is efficient for steady compressible viscous transonic flows?

3/ What is the type of equation for a steady compressible viscous transonic flows? Hyperbolic or elliptic

4/ I'm also looking for any publication on such flow in order to test my modelisation, effectively with fluent4.5 i capture some shock waves but i don't know if they are correct?

Thanks for your answers...

Pef
