VOF model and interface!

Hallo, I used the VOF (Volume of fluid) implemented in FLUENT to simulate the gas liquid film flow where the density difference between gas and liquid is very big. To determine the interface one looks for the surface where VOF=0.5! Is that also true for the gas-liquid flow or should I consider the density difference? And how?
Thanks in advance Adel Ataki email: ataki@mv.uni-kl.de |

It should be 0.5.

in fact the volume fraction must be different from 0 or 1 to be located in the interfaces.
