HI,
I've got a simple pipe with an inflow and an outflow. I just would like to know the mass flow rate on the outflow face. How Fluent (5.5) can tell me it (using graph or calculations)? Thank you so much, looking forward any idea. TOM |

If you solve the momentum equations(x,y,z), you can get the average velocity at the outflow face.
(Report->surface integral) Then you can simply calculate the mass flow rate with the equation "mass flow rate=rho*area*velocity". |
