how extract data from plot3d file

Default how extract data from plot3d file

when i get a plot3d file. (NASA cfd fire type .q) i can view it in 3d view but i want extract data from it to write a spreadsheet file. then draw curve with matlab how can i do that. or what other ways to do that thanks
