Today , i would like to simulate two mixtures that flow through the different channel respectively . First mixture(include hydrogen ,water-vapor)flow in top channel. second mixture (include oxygen , water-vapor , nitrogen)flow in below channel . but two channel contact together . the surface area is wall between top channel and below channel . i want to ask how to defined the order of react of species(total four species )inside in Fluent 5.5 solver. Defines/Materials/Mixtures species panel

You should define at least 5 species.
H2O, N2, O2, H2, CO2 Maybe you should define more specises for intermediate species. For one step reaction model, you can refer the reaction parameters from the DEFINE --> MATERIAL --> DATABASE --> 'MIXTURE MATERIALS, Hydrogen-Air --> REACTION MODEL --> VIEW It's fairly simple one-step reaction model. And you can also use 'MF(Mixture Fraction)/PDF Model. For more information, I think that you should study, because it's fairly difficult to fully explain the modeling strtergy of combustion simulation because combustion itself is fairly difficult. Sorry, you don't need CO2.
