Hi,

I am basically a student working on structural acoustics, but am interested in moving into the area of aero/hydro acoustics. I have been able to find a lot of work on aeroacoustics by people like Farassat, Brentner, Morino etc. On the other hand i have not been able to get much on hydroacoustics. That is sound generated by moving ship preopellers for instance. I would like to know if there are any books that give implementation details of the various aero acoustic algorithms? Does the Fluent software have all the capabilities of CFL3D that is quoted so often in all the aeroacoustic papers? I will be glad to get help on these questions.

Thanks very much for your patience in reading through this and for the directions you might be providing.

Mahesh
