Adaption-Croasening?

Hallo, Can somebody help me? How can do an Iso-value adaption (but croasening not refining!!!) for my grid for some variable such as velocity (refining does work but croasening does not)! All the cells of my Grid are quaterial elements.

You can only coarsen a grid after you have refined it...
