Default FEM v FVM

Hi all,

Suppose one generates a certain mesh and then exports it for solution in both FIDAP 8.5 and Fluent 5. Should the wall shear be more accurate for the Fluent solution considering the fact that the finite volume method stores cell data at the centre of the cell unlike finite element which stores it at the corner i.e. the FVM solution is closer to the wall than the FEM method. Thank you for any thoughts on the subject. Tommy.
