Hi. Does Fluent have the ability to create grids with one cell face having a number of neighbouring smaller cell faces?

I believe Star can handle this. Does Fluent do it in a similar way? Can such grids be created in Gambit?

Si.

Yes, Fluent can handle general grid interfaces, where the nodes on different sides don't match.

I thought so. I think Star handles the interface by allowing for arbritrary convex polyhedra cells in conjunction with an unstructured solver. Do you know if Fluent does the same or does it do some kind of interpolation?
