i have a question.. do the calculations including free surface need using two phases? I need to use heat exchange but this is not possible when i use multiphase flow... thank you for help.. seba

To solve free surface flows in FLUENT, you have to use VOF model and the present version does not incorporate heat transfer. You may be able to solve the energy equation by using the User Defined Scalar equations. Relatively simple scalar conservation equations can be solved using this option. Thanks Raja
