Hi, I hope someone can help me, after exporting my "0 meshed volume failed mesh check" from gambit, in fluent I have a message from the grid check that it failed. The reason is
//Checking face handedness. // Zone 51: 270043 right-handed, 3 left-handed The manual states that this is due to negative volumes (in my model there is none) and that this way, no flow solution can be obtained. It doesnt say how to idetify these 3 element faces, I dont want to mesh again. Thanks. |

you should generate more fine surface grid.
In case of fauilere agiain, Split your domain into smaller region and mesh. |

Thanks for answering. So this error is due to bad surface grid? I fixed it by smoothening the volume mesh, more bad elements appear but the error disappears
