Hi all Somebody came to me with a question I couldn't give a good answer. A friend wants to simulate a combustion chamber in which periodically (he will try to simulate a single cycle) a valve opens. That would mean to fluent that in a certain time a boundary will change. All I could tell him is that with a UDF you can change the boundaries by demand or that the problem would be solved in two step fashion with results of a simulation as entry of the other. I was really puzzle but I know that this problem has been solved already. Can anyone have a suggestion? He's using fluent 5.4

Cheers
