Default define faces within GAMBIT in imported mesh

Hi there,

I am trying to set boundary conditions on a 3D mesh of a gas turbine combustion chamber imported into GAMBIT. The mesh was exported from CFD-ACE, and obviously information concerning faces created for several inlets are lost, therefore only faces defining the outline can be selected. My question is whether faces such as circles for inlets can be redefined from existing cells or additionally embedded without remeshing the whole volume. Are there possibilities within GAMBIT or is there a solution when using any other meshing tool? Thank you for your advice!

Yours,

Elmar
