I am using density as a function of temperature. I am using 2D segregated solver. My Mach no. is 0.1 only. Does fluent 5.3 solve the following eqn for continuity in 2D steady state?
dou(Ro*u)/dou(x) + dou(R0*v)/dou(y) =0 or does it solve only the following for the above mentioned case ? dou(u)/dou(x) + dou(v)/dou(y) =0 I would also like to know for the above mentioned case, with RSM , is Fluent5.3 using favre averaging or reynolds averaging only?. Any help will be useful. Thanks.. |

1. d(Ro*u)/d(x) + d(R0*v)/d(y) =0
2. Reynolds averaging only. Sincerely, Jinwook |
