Hi! I want to use User Defined Functions, to initialize my tracer input for a recirculating Flow. I have not used UDF's earlier, and have slight knowledge of the C language. Can anybody guide what to start with and how. Please be precise and clear for a novice like me to understand.

hello;

you can find more informations about UDF function in www.fluentusers.com, or you can get in volume 4 for fluent 5.

for your initialization , may be , you will use the following macro: DEFINE_PROFILE.

aleways, the fluent 5 UDF users guide is not complete, but you can find some examples that they help you. you can get from www.fluentusers.com

best regards
