Default 3D unsteady flow simulation

Hi, all

Is it possible for Fluent5 to simulate 3D unsteady flow (Mach=0.5) in PC? I want use my PC (330hz, 382M memory) to simulate a unsteady flow around a blunt body.What kind schume should be used?

Hi Wason,

It is definitely possible to simulate 3D unsteady flow in your PC.

For suggestion regarding the scheme to use, it is better to go through the user guides throughly. The selection of turbulence model , Pressure-velocity coupling etc. depends upon various other details you have not provided. I am sure you definitely find a lot of help in fluent user guide itself.
