Default Solar Radiation

Dear Fluent Users,

I am running a natural ventilation simulation that involves air flow around and within a commercial building. My past experiences have been in the HVAC applications for in-door environment, and solar radiation was accounted thru' heat fluxes based on Carrier's E-20 thermal analysis code and are applied as B.C.into Fluent.

However, the case that I am running involves both external and internal flows (but open to environment).

By ignoring the solar radiation as "in-door HVAC" simulation, the simulation results show that the temperature does not vary in those regions outside (uder the sun) the building and those region under the building structure.

I am wondering has anyone ever included solar radiation for this type of simulation?..... If you do, I would appreciated greatly if you could share your experiences with me.

THANK YOU,

Sincerely yours,

Lee K.H.
