Floating Point Exception with Pressure Inlet Boundary Condition in ANSYS Fluent VOF

hello everybody
I'm working on a CFD simulation in ANSYS Fluent to model the external flow of a water nozzle. I've set up the geometry with the nozzle and the flow domain as hollow, and I've created a fluid domain. I'm using the Volume of Fluid (VOF) method with the k-omega SST turbulence model in transient state, with the energy equation turned off. I started with standard initialization. When I set the boundary conditions to a velocity inlet, the simulation runs and I get results. However, when I try to use a pressure inlet condition, while keeping the outlet gauge pressure at 0 bar, I encounter a floating-point exception error. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can resolve it? Any advice on using pressure inlet conditions in this type of setup would be greatly appreciated. |
