Hi,
I'm not familiar with Ansys. I have a heat flux profile (UDF) defined as a function of height that was created for Ansys. Before using this data in another program, I need to understand how Ansys processes this function. When we input the polynomial dependent on height as a heat flux in the form of A + Bx + Cx^2: a) Does Ansys directly assign this value to the wall face centers with the unit W/m2? b) Or does it use the thermal conductivity and surface area of each face to define the temperature gradient? I would appreciate it if you could clarify which one is correct and share any related resources for further reading. Best regards, g |
