Hi everyone,

I am trying to model jet noise prediction in farfield using FW-H surfaces but i am confused if my geometric modelling is right to capture noise. i have used open cylinders as my FW-H surface over the jet region but i did not enclose all of them inside huge computational domain. do i even need to enclose all of them inside a huge domain to predict the noise in farfield. I have been going through lot of research papers but it is quite frustrating to not get any direction from my supervisor for the dissertation. I have turned to this platform for the direction.
