Default diffusive heat flux coefficent

In the DEFINE_HEAT_FLUX udf macro example in the fluent document, they use cid[0], cid[1], cid[2], and cid[3] for the heat flux coefficient. What do 0,1,2 and 3 indexes point at? Is it the node or direction?
