Hi Everyone,
I have run a water flow simulation in a channel using the VOF model. I am interested in finding water depth at certain locations in the channel. I can find water depth at certain locations but I am not able to create contours to demonstrate water level throughout the channel.
It would be really helpful if someone can guide me to create water depth contours.
thank you

If I understand you correctly, you want to plot the distance from the free surface to the bottom of the channel? Assuming the free surface is not a straight line.

I'd make an expression that returns the highest value of the y-coordinate of a cell with a volume fraction of (or near 1) for every x-coordinate (if it's 2D)

Then an expression of the mesh y-coordinate minus that free surface location, and plot a contour of that.

thank you. You are right. I will try to create the expressions and variables as per your suggestion.
