Hello, everyone
I am currently working on unsteady particle track with a transient flow. The nickel particles (density = 8900 kg/m3) can not be tracked, and the console shows: " Advancing DPM injections.... number tracked = 0, escpaed = 0.... " It's a 2D axisymmetric model with a minimum mesh size of 0.002m, 0.001s fixed time step. The particles are injected from the inlet, surface type, and the parameters were set as other parameters by default. So, if anyone has ever encountered this problem, please tell me the possible reasons. |

Hi Zhu
maybe the problem is your particles are NOT located in your domain. usually, I faced to this error while using DPM, when my particles located out of the domain. |
