I am a beginner in fluid analysis.
The analysis is performed on a model with a turbine in the piping. In the model, water enters through the inlet, the turbine rotates, and the water is discharged through the outlet. I would like to confirm that the turbine rotation setting is accurate. Currently, we have defined the fluid region outside the turbine as "fluid1" and the turbine part as "fluid2". The two fluid regions are continuously connected by a boundary layer mesh. In this case, is it possible to exchange physical quantities between fluid1 and fluid2 without setting up a new mesh interface in " fluent"? Can you calculate the effect of turbine rotation on the fluid in the piping? |
