Divergence of Fluent solution Workbench but not standalone

Hi,
as the title already reveals: I am running a parametric study with multiple Operating Points (OPs) (Air, Ideal gas, sutherland, nothing too fancy etc.) inside the Ansys Workbench (WB) with Fluent. What I now noticed is, that if I Update my OPs by clicking "Update Selected Design Points" within the WB Parameter Set, some (not all) OPs diverge. When I then start the Fluent GUI instead and solve each OP this way "manually", they converge. Each OP respresents serverely different flight conditions. My thought was, that instead of initialising each case individually, the respectively previous solution is taken by WB as the initial guess/solution for the next OP. I played around with the Fluent Solution settings in WB (Initialisation Method -> from Program Controlled to Solver Controlled and vice versa) but none of that worked... Does anybody know, what I am missing here? Thanks! |
