Dear all,

I am simulating hypersonic flow in scramjet intake which predict flow separation due to shock wave boundary layer interaction. To control flow separation the geometry of model has to be varied.
Kindly can anyone suggest how to change geometry during transient simulations?

Did you look at dynamic mesh models? never used them though

No I didn't used. I would like to change geometry dimensions after 5 secs of simulations. can you suggest how to do it

Look to dynamic mesh models. I don't know how to use them, but they do what you want.

Is it an instanteous change? Or will it happen over a short time? If it is the former, then maybe interpolating the solution onto a new mesh/geometry is the way to go. If it is the latter, then I second LoGaL suggestion.

It has to change after a short time of 1 sec.
