Hello,
I am trying to model a jet engine combustion chamber on fluent, I have inlet mass flow rate and inlet total pressure, I am using DPM injections. For the inlet I am choosing mass flow inlet, assigning my mass flow rate and inlet static pressure at (supersonic/initial gauge pressure) and pressure opening for the outlet. In the results section I am getting the inlet pressure far higher than the pressure I assigned in the BC. How can i solve this pressure problem? thank you in advance. |

Firstly, for the outlet, pressure-outlet is more recommended.
Secondly, normally, the far higher pressure is caused by the parameters you set. Check its value and unit. Good luck. |
