Dear Friends,

In CFD simulation of water flow boiling inside a heated pipe using the Mixture/VOF model and the Lee submodel for vaporization/condensation, two-phase flow pressure drop is much lower than the experimental data. Various parametric studies have been performed but the underprediction of pressure drop was not solved. Does anyone have experiences in validation of two phase flow boiling pressure drop in heated pipes?

Br,
Sasan
