I have been trying to simulate a turbulent flow through a rectangular microchannel. I am validating a numerical paper that solved turbulent flow through a microchannel of dimensions 0.5mm x 5 mm x 20 mm. The working fluid is water at 308K. The model used is the standard k-epsilon model, as the author has used the same.
The pressure drop obtained by the author is 4.9kPa while the pressure drop I obtained is around 11 kPa. Please help me regarding this issue. The paper: Paper link Images of my setup are attachedi2.jpg Screenshot 2022-12-20 141447.jpg |
