Hi, I am working on a rocket. To determine the drag and moment coefficient.
When calculating the drag force, I need to set an area value as a reference value. should I choose the cross-sectional area or the surface area of the nose cone as the reference value? When I selected the surface area, the drag coefficient was very low (like 0.04 in a 250 cm rocket). Is this normal?
Another question is, How can I determine moment coefficient of the rocket?
Please Help me!!!
