Good evening guys. As always i have simple problem that takes unnecesarry time.
I have 2 symple geometries assembled in autodesk and run throught spaceclaim to define inlet and outlet. I need it as 2 parts so i can have initial condition of different preassure in one of them. I keep getting interface between them and cant inicialize because of it. The thing is. I got only 1 surface common for both of them, so how can i possibly choose 2 as ansys keep bitching? Thank you for soon answer. |

Don't define inlet and outlet in spaceclaim. Do it in meshing using named selection. After the geometry is created/imported into Spaceclaim, close it and open the geometry with Design Modeller. Select all the parts and Form a new part. For defining different flow conditions in different parts, you can define the different parts as named selections in Meshing. They'll show up as cell zones in Fluent.
