hi every one.
excuseme i want to simulate an oscillating airfoil with length 10 cm, velocity=7 m/s and the reduced frequency = 0.1, but i can't calculate the angular velacity (omega-W). and i don't know what's the difference between frequenc in angular velocity(w=2*pi*f) and reduced frequency. thank you. |

Reduced frequency is the normalized, non-dimensional frequency. Take your reduce frequency, multiply by velocity, and divide by the length scale and that gives you the angular frequency. Reduced frequency is closely related to the Strouhal number.
