turbvisc is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,
I'm currently doing heat-transfer calculations on an rocket engine. For that purpose I've created a model representing a section of that engine, that can be seen in the picture. On each side of the model a symmetry condition is established. The wall has a constant thermal boundary condition with a temperature set to 700K.
I've noticed that the heat-flux is not constant in circumferential direction as it should be, but rather has a maximum in the middle and lower values at the sides (near the symmetry borders). I've checked the flow properties (like velocity, pressure and temperature) but they're all constant in circumferential direction, as I'm not modelling combustion but rather a hot gas flow (in that specific case it's actually just hot air).

Now I'm wondering if anybody has an explanation or has encountered the same problem.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks a lot
Jannis
