Simulation of Sedimentation Tank (Settling/Removal Efficiency)

Good day,

May I have an assistance regarding choosing whether I should just set the phases (sand in the form of silicon and water) in the Multiphase Model or should I assign it in the Discrete Phase (injection)?

This is for my undergraduate thesis. Many thanks in advance!
