I just want a BC injecting Hydrogen (H2) and have it combust with air (0.78N2 + 0.22O2) inside the domain, and the output should be N2, O2 and H2O, simple as that. There's no ignition, hopefully the air temperature (>1000K) should take care of that.
The Fluent tutorial (https://www.afs.enea.it/project/nept...ug/node537.htm) has proven unfruitful so far. It behaves like I'm just injecting more air into the domain. Should I use the premixed or non-premixed model? It seems to be non-premixed, because, intuitively, premixed sounds like what you would have in a reciprocating engine. What else can I do? |

increase temperature locally in the beggining of simulation

You can patch high temperature (2000K) and high intermediates and product mass concentration in the initial filed.
In your case, the non-premixed model seems more accurate. |
