Dear Ansys user,
I am trying to simulate a line in a water channel (model 2D), which should be able to filter some particles from the flow. the aim is to simulate a line with resistance again some particles (2nd phase). but I don't know how can I do it, any suggestion? I know that defining a porous area would be possible. but I want to know, are in Ansys any possibilities to define a specific resistance for the filter? how it should be? should I define a user-defined (UDF) boundary condition for example? geometry: 2D simple flow channel. inlet outlet and top and bottom as wall, in the middle, a line as the filter. any help would be appreciated Regards |
