hello
i am new to ansys. I'm simulating flow in a direct perfusion bioreactor. (Shown in picture below) The middle zone is scaffold (a porous solid zone which fluid will pass through.) cross section of perfusion bioreactor front view: front view of perfusion bioreactor : my question is : How should i represent the porous zone in my geometry? Is it enough to just split the body by to horizontal plane (as shown in picture) ,and i can set the splited zone as a porous zone in solving process? or i should represent my porous zone with a solid in spaceclaim? regards information: software: ansys 2021r2 (scpaceclaim (geometry creation) and fluent (solving process)) |
